Voices of California

Formed in January 2010, the Voices of California (VoCal) is a world-class male performing ensemble that has taken barbershop /a cappella harmony in the Sacramento Valley to new heights. The chorus has a passion to entertain and our high-energy performances aim to be memorable both vocally and visually. Our primary goal is to put on excellent performances that thrill our audiences.

We strive to be good stewards in our community through support of our local music performance groups with a focus on youth outreach in our schools and colleges. VoCal found instant local success in being named Northeast Division Champions at our first contest 11 weeks after our founding. VoCal has earned that championship every year since! VoCal was also the first Sacramento area representative to the International Barbershop Harmony Contest in 2013 after 65 years of barbershop in the Sacramento Valley. We have returned to the International Contest Stage several times since.
